Strategy for Current Affairs in CLAT

Current affairs is an important section in CLAT, and it requires a focused and dedicated approach to prepare for it. Here is a strategy you can follow to prepare for current affairs in CLAT:

    1. Start early: Start preparing for current affairs at least 6-8 months before the exam. This will give you enough time to cover all important events and issues.

    2. Identify important topics: Go through the previous years’ question papers to identify the important topics and areas from where questions are frequently asked. Focus on these topics while preparing.

    3. Read newspapers daily: Reading newspapers like The Hindu, Indian Express, and The Times of India can help you stay updated on current events and national and international news. Make it a habit to read the newspaper every day.

    4. Watch news channels: Watching news channels like NDTV, CNN, and BBC can also help you stay updated on current affairs and can give you a better understanding of various events and issues.

    5. Make notes: Make notes of important current affairs topics and revise them regularly to ensure you retain the information.

    6. Use current affairs apps: Download current affairs apps like Inshorts, DailyHunt, and NewsBytes to stay updated on current affairs on the go.

    7. Solve previous year papers: Solve previous year papers to get an idea of the type of questions

    8. Stay focused: Stay focused and dedicated to your preparation. Don’t get distracted by irrelevant information.

    9. Stay calm and confident: Keep a positive attitude and stay calm and confident while attempting the current affairs section in the exam.

Remember, current affairs is a dynamic section, and it requires constant updating and revision. With consistent effort and practice, you can excel in this section of CLAT.
